About us
Tractor Junction launched the ITOTY (Indian Tractor Of The Year) Awards to recognise and encourage the hard work of tractors and farm equipment makers. The first ITOTY Award ceremony was held in Delhi in 2019, and now, it has come up with the fifth edition. Mr. Rajat Gupta, the founder of Tractor Junction, came up with this idea to honour these manufacturers. The awards are a way to show appreciation to the companies and inspire them to keep improving their products for farmers.
Tractor Junction values the hard work of companies that make tractors and implements, recognising their dedication to meeting farmers' needs. We have experienced jury experts in the tractor industry. After multiple voting rounds and a voting pattern by the Jury Members, the most deserving tractor gets the award “Tractor Of The Year”. There are many award categories, and the most deserving tractors and implements receive prizes. The ITOTY winners are honoured for their outstanding service and farmer satisfaction. In 2019, the Powertrac Euro 50 won the title “Tractor of the Year”. In 2021, Sonalika Tiger 55 earned the “Indian Tractor Of The Year award”. In 2022, the Mahindra 575 DI XP Plus and the Massey Ferguson 246 DYNATRACK shared the award of “Indian Tractor Of The Year”. The latest in 2023, the “Indian Tractor Of The Year award”, was won by the Kubota MU4501.

Our Process
The criteria for deciding how well a tractor performs include its Price, Fuel Efficiency, Comfort, Safety, Innovation, Value for Money, and how well it works with Indian Farming conditions. Choosing the winner from all the companies is done in a very fair manner. The final decision is based on votes from our Jury and the Public. The Jury's votes count for 60%, and the Public's votes count for 40%.
Our jury has over 200 years of combined experience in the industry. The ITOTY Awards jury consists of 8 members. Four of them have backgrounds in product and marketing. Three members specialize in testing and work at CFM TTI Budni and CIAE Bhopal. The final jury member is a YouTuber with knowledge about agriculture, farm equipment, and tractors.
